About Attorney Joseph F. Fischer

Attorney Fischer is a 1988 graduate of Holy Name High School in Madison, Wisconsin. He received his bachelor’s degree in business from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1992. After a year of selling securities in Milwaukee and Madison, he attended law school at Northern Illinois University College of Law, where he graduated in 1996.

Out of law school, Attorney Fischer worked for a Watertown law firm and was named partner in 2001. He formed Fischer & Kosloske Attorneys & Counselors At Law in 2008, originally operating out of the State Farm complex on Church Street. In 2012, Fischer purchased and renovated the building that most know as “the old Pizza Hut” and has practiced out of that location since.

Joe’s experience is immense. Throughout his 20 plus years of practice, he has focused on family and criminal law, handling OWIs to homicides, divorces to paternities. Since opening Fischer & Kosloske Attorneys & Counselors At Law, he has enjoyed expanding his practice. He has enjoyed being able to provide his clients just about any legal services that they might need. He now handles a significant amount of civil litigation (small and large claims), probate, estate planning, and real estate, among other areas. Having been a litigator since his start, he is the most experienced trial lawyer in the city of Watertown.

Joe’s philosophy for his practice and the office is to provide the highest quality of legal services while treating his clients with the utmost dignity and respect, no matter what they come here for. His clients are fellow members of the community he has been proud to be a part of, and he treats them as such. He has filled his office with highly competent professionals who share this philosophy.

Joe has three children: Josh, Jake, and Maddie. He is a die-hard sports fan and loves the Brewers, Bucks, and Packers. He formally played baseball in the Rock River league and coached the Watertown Cardinals. Currently, he fills his time coaching and following his kids' many sports teams.
